Stepping Stones: Seasonal Maintenance Program
Easy Care With New Seasonal
Maintenance Program
As sure as the seasons change, so do the requirements
of your landscape. New Leaf is here to make the
transitions easy for you, our clients, by initiating a new
program – Seasonal Maintenance.
Do you know if your trees and shrubs should be
pruned in the fall or the early spring? What about
care for perennials? Are there plants in your yard that
require special preparation for the winter, then attention
in the spring to keep them at their best? Our
new Seasonal Maintenance Program gives you the
power to keep up with the seasons and optimize your
landscape investment.
“This new program can take the worry out of your
seasonal landscape concerns,” says Henry Evans,
operations manager for New Leaf. “For example,
proper pruning – at the right time of year using the
correct techniques – can invigorate your plants, keep
them healthy and encourage better growth.”
Here’s how the program works:
Four times each year, our crews will come out and
perform the necessary pruning, clean-up and other
basic services to ready your landscape for the upcoming
season. For instance, some plants require fall
pruning to optimize bloom, while others should be
pruned in the spring. Early winter signals the time to
mulch for protection from the cold.
